IN THIS ACRYLIC WORKSHOP, WE WILL COMBINE PASSIONS OF PAINTING, ANIMALS AND THE BEACH - CREATING OUR MUCH LOVED ANIMALS IN A PORTRAIT ON CANVAS!
DAY 1:
PAINT A BEACH-SCAPE... sketch in the pet!
DAY 2:
PAINT THE FINER DETAILS... bring your pet's portrait to life, giving character with eyes, nose, contrast of fur, scruffiness and whiskers!

Wendy will take you step by step through the process of creating one of her quirky, iconic emu designs.
Her method is simple and foolproof - your creation will look a little bit crazy but awesome enough to hang on any wall with pride and receive lots of comments!
She will instruct you in the use and choice of brushes, paints and canvases, before beginning your painting.

THIS COURSE IS AIMED AT BOTH BEGINNERS AND FOR THOSE WHO ALREADY PAINT OR DRAW, AND WHO WOULD LIKE TO EXPAND THEIR SKILLS.
THE TUTOR WILL INTRODUCE A SELECTION OF DIFFERENT MEDIA WITH DEMONSRATIONS + PRACTICAL EXERCISES; COVERING DIFFERENT MATERIALS + TOOLS, HOW THEY WORK WITH LAYERING, CREATIVE USE OF 'ACCIDENTS'. WORKSHOP LINO PRINT 'NATIVE BIRDS OF THE NYINGGULU'
By Tutor: Racheal Sandover
Rachael will be running this TWO DAY course teaching all aspects of 'two colour reduction Lino print'
DAY ONE (4 hours): Choosing image, design + colour on paper, transfer to lino and carve out the background and print first colour.
DAY TWO (3 hours): Carve out colour, print black outline / border.
